EGOS petits is the family-oriented side of the EGOS teatre company and was born in 2007 with the aim of creating musical shows aimed at family audiences.

Joan sense por. A musical with puppets that will make you hiccup... hic! was the first project presented by the company, in co-production with the Centre de Titelles de Lleida. It received the 2008 Stage Production Projects Award from the Institut del Teatre. The show was presented at La Mostra 2009 - Igualada Children and Youth Theater Fair, where it won the Caixa Catalunya Award for Best Show by popular vote. Subsequently, it was presented at the 20th Lleida Puppet Theater Fair, where it received the Drac d'Or Ara Titelles, Ara Lleida, and Drac d'Or de las Autonomías awards.
