GeBa
GeBa is a contemporary dance company founded and directed by Genís García Mármol. The company was created with the aim of developing a distinctive choreographic language in which the body becomes a tool for emotional, dramaturgical, and poetic expression. Its works explore human relationships, memory, and social issues through a contemporary perspective, combining strong physicality with a visually sensitive stage language.
Committed to contemporary artistic creation, GeBa embraces a form of dance that is alive, hybrid, and grounded in scenic honesty. The company emerged from a deep creative drive and the need to build its own artistic universe.
GeBa marks the beginning of a new creative chapter for Genís García Mármol, defined by the research, development, and experimentation of a personal stage language, where the body becomes the primary vehicle for expression and artistic inquiry. Through each creation, GeBa seeks to give voice to a generation full of questions, crafting physical narratives that connect with audiences through fragility, intensity, and playfulness.
