To mark its 30th anniversary, the Roberto G. Alonso Company revives one of its greatest stage successes.
Selected as one of the five best contemporary dance performances seen in Barcelona in 2012, according to Núvol – The digital magazine of culture.
Synopsis
Inspired by Wedekind’s character Lulú, the performance explores the desires, impulses, and taboos that society hides behind the mask of morality.
Lulú, free from rules and devoted to pleasure, becomes a symbol of chaos, sensuality, and self-destruction. A figure as fascinating as it is disturbing, confronting us with the fragile boundary between life and death.
